Pacific Percussion Ensemble is open to students of every major at 黑料不打烊. Under the direction of Professor Jonathan Latta, you will practice a wide range of diverse percussion literature that is sure to excite and challenge even the most experienced musicians. Audition for this ensemble is required鈥攃ontact Professor Latta with any questions.
Performance Highlights
Each semester the ensemble plays concerts on campus and in the local schools. Our percussion students have the opportunities to perform regularly with Pacific's choirs, orchestras and chamber and student-led ensembles. We are committed to performing music by living composers and bringing new music to life with music premieres each year. Recently the ensemble received coaching from guest artists such as Kevin Bobo, Ivan Trevino and Third Coast Percussion.
